Be At One Dog Training

-Where you and your dog learn to become one -

My Ethos

The fact that the average dog going into rescue now is 8 months old, means somewhere, something has gone terribly wrong with the culture of dog ownership.

Additionally, now more than ever, there are more rescue dogs being brought overseas with serious behavioural concerns. I know that often, a decent trainer can be the one thing stopping a dog going into rescue or being put to sleep.

These trends need to stop.

I am confident that I am the trainer that can help stop your dog needing to go into a rescue shelter.

I have vast experience working with rescue dogs, most from overseas, from countries such as China, Greece, Romania, Spain, and providing a skilled behaviour analysis, to help get the best out of your relationship with your dog.

I do not believe in working with one part of the dog’s behaviours. In my experience it does not work. Dog training needs to be more wholesome. My approach is holistic, no stone will be left unturned. Together we will explore all your dog’s needs. We will work on specific breed needs & traits, exercise, health, diet, nutrition, daily structure, the list is endless.

I am also the proud owner of a Boerboel Mastiff, that was previously a rescue. She is said to have had at least 7 homes before stopping at me. 7 homes at just 2 years old. That is madness! She encourages me to be the best I can be, I wouldn’t want another dog to be passed around like she was, a dog should be for life. You can check out her journey on my social media.

I am also passionate about supporting people who have made the grand choice of adopting a rescue dog. Together we can prevent your dog returning to a rescue centre.

Owning any dog can present a variety of experiences. Most of these experiences are amazing, a dog really can be man’s best friend, or a gal’s best pal. But a few of these experiences can be daunting. My passion is to help you learn how to better communicate with your dog.

Let's work together, to train you and your dog to Be at One, addressing all behavioural concerns, encouraging more desirable behaviours, and ensuring that your dog’s better character is uncovered.
